Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what happens to it — in plain language. The short version: we collect only what you choose to give us, we use it only to help you buy or sell a home, and we never sell it to anyone.

What we collect

  • Contact and valuation forms: your name, email address, phone number (optional), and whatever you write in your message — including a property address if you request a home valuation.
  • Newsletter signup: your email address.
  • AI assistant: the questions you type, so the assistant can answer and so we can improve its answers. Don't share sensitive personal or financial details in the chat — for those conversations, contact Sheri Long directly.
  • Anonymous usage statistics: which pages are visited, via privacy-focused analytics (Vercel Analytics). This does not use advertising cookies and does not identify you personally.

How we use it

To respond to your inquiry, prepare a home valuation you asked for, send the market newsletter you signed up for, and understand which parts of the site are useful. That's it. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we don't send marketing you didn't ask for. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe option, and you can opt out anytime.

Where it lives and who sees it

Form submissions are stored in a secured database (Supabase) and are accessible only to Sheri Long and the site administrator. The website is hosted on Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it.

Third-party services

The “Search MLS” buttons open Home ASAP, an independent MLS search service with its own privacy policy and its own accounts. Anything you do there — saved searches, favorites, registrations — is governed by Home ASAP's terms, not this policy. Links to social media work the same way.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — just email YouCantGoWrongWithLong@gmail.com and we'll take care of it promptly. Florida residents and visitors covered by other state privacy laws have these rights by statute; we extend them to everyone as a matter of course.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date. Material changes will be noted plainly at the top of the page.
